The agriculture industry is very vast. Almost everything you use in your everday lives can be related back to agriculture.  There are certainly a lot of facts and statistics that may be confusing.

Certainly agriculture is a huge part of food production. Americans have the cheapest food supply in the world at only 10% of their income.

Along with traditional foods such as meat, fruits, and vegetables, food production is also involved with biotechnology. Golden rice, drought resistance wheat, and even more contemporary things such as grapples, all have diversified our food choices, and changed the food we eat.
