When

Driving down the road from September through November one can see machinery in the fields, harvesting the row crops.

Photo by Brittany Jurgemeyer -- A farmer in North Central Iowa harvests his soybeans during the busy Fall months. Row crop farmers work tirelessly to harvest the crops they planted during Spring.

However row crops are certainly not the only thing that we harvest. Vegetables, fruits, and animals can all be found on farms year round, and we as consumers certainly reap the benefits.

Other products such as milk are collected multiple times a day every day.

We all benefit from the long hours people in the agriculture put in, just so we can feed our families. Agriculture doesn’t just happen in a specific season, for four or five weeks, it happens everyday, everywhere.
